Nueva ARC orginally composes three barangays of the Municipality of Sta. Marcela namely: Nueva, Marcela and Panay. Due to its potential and the development coming from the different CARP Implementing team, two more inner barangays was included: Barangays San Juan and Consuelo.
The milestone of this ARC is the cassava production with marketing tie-up with San Miguel Corporation. A giant food company based in Ortigas, Mandaluyong, Metro Manila.
At present, there are 89 farmers involved in cassava production with 115 hectares production area.
